What’s New at Narmi: July Product Highlights
In July, Narmi is cutting manual work out of everyday banking, for staff and account holders alike. Secure Messages AI now grounds its drafts in two sources at once, Narmi's own Document360 help center and each institution's uploaded process documentation, so staff can lean even harder on its first response. Organization Limits Override gives Narmi Command staff a fast way to temporarily flex a business's transfer limits right from its existing profile, without any permanent segment change required. International Wire Templates let commercial users save reusable, pre-filled templates for recurring cross-border payments, cutting manual entry and error risk on high-value FX transactions, with admins keeping control over who can send freeform wires versus templates only. And Check Autofill reads the details off check images automatically, so account holders no longer transcribe the memo, payer, and amount by hand. The throughline: less manual effort, more of what people need right where they need it. Explore the updates below.
NEW FEATURES AND UPDATES:
Sharpen Secure Messages AI with Layered Context from Narmi and Your Institution
Secure Messages AI now grounds every drafted response in two layers of context: Narmi's Document360 help center for even deeper product knowledge, and an institution's own uploaded process documentation for policy-specific nuance. Staff can upload a single zip file (up to 20MB) of internal procedures via the messages configuration page, and remove it anytime to instantly stop its use, while Doc360 grounding applies automatically to every FI. Together, these two context sources help staff rely even more on the AI's first draft, with source citation for both planned for Q3.

Flex a Limit for a Moment, Without Changing a Segment for Good
Organization Limits Override lets Narmi Command staff temporarily raise a business banking organization's ACH, wire, or FedNow transfer limits for a defined window — right from the organization's existing profile, with no permanent segment change required. Staff choose a payment method, set a time window, and define an override limit; once the window closes, the organization's limits automatically revert to their standard values, with no manual cleanup. This gives staff a fast, purpose-built way to handle one-off requests like a large payroll run, instead of relying on permanent segment workarounds.

Turn Check Images into Instant, Editable Details with Check Autofill
Check Autofill uses OCR to automatically read the payee, payer, amount, date, and memo from check images and surface them as editable fields right on the transaction, so account holders no longer have to open each image and transcribe details by hand. Running on a lightweight AI model, it processes checks immediately after deposit, keeps multiple checks tied to a single transaction, and learns from any corrections users make. Edits are for personal record-keeping only and never change the underlying transaction or balance, making this a quiet, practical example of governed AI at work.

Streamline Recurring International Payments with Wire Templates and Unified Payment Activity
Narmi’s International Wire Templates give commercial banking users a faster, more controlled way to execute recurring cross-border payments — whether in USD or foreign currency. Users can now create reusable wire templates with pre-filled fields, reducing manual entry and the risk of errors on high-value FX transactions. FI admins gain granular per-user control over whether staff can send freeform wires or must use pre-approved templates. And with international wires now appearing alongside ACH and domestic wires in the unified Payment Activity page, business clients have a complete, consolidated view of every payment they’ve originated in Narmi — no more switching screens to find an international transaction.
