Easier Enrollment into Digital Banking

Narmi has refreshed the design of our enrollment flow, making it even easier for consumers and businesses to enroll in online banking after opening an account. Our team is committed to providing the best possible user experience across our product suite and improving the enrollment flow is a crucial part of building a seamless, end-to-end digital banking experience. We invested significant time in user testing to determine the most logical user flow and visual hierarchy to maximize enrollments into digital banking.

What is the enrollment platform and why is it important?

Enrollment serves as the gateway from digital account opening to digital banking and is a crucial moment in the overall digital banking experience. While sometimes overlooked, it can greatly impact a user’s relationship with their financial institution. If the enrollment platform is not up to par, there is a risk that a user may never enter the digital banking platform. Therefore, it is essential to ensure that the enrollment process is well-designed and provides a seamless transition for the user to begin their digital banking journey.

Why did we redesign our enrollment platform?

Our product and design teams conducted testing on the user experience of the enrollment platform to uncover any areas that needed improvement. We redesigned the experience to match the UI/UX of our consumer and business account opening platforms and reduce friction wherever possible.

What's new?

  1. Give users more control with the power of a progress bar. We've added a progress bar that gives users a visual indication of their enrollment progress. This visibility allows users to feel in control of the process and their time, leading to more successful enrollments. It keeps users engaged for longer and fosters a sense of urgency to accomplish the "goal" of completing the enrollment process.

  2. Designing for consistency across all platforms. Our team is dedicated to ensuring all Narmi platforms, from account opening to enrollment to digital banking – across mobile and web – are cohesive in look and feel. This ensures a consistent user experience regardless of touchpoint. 

  3. Reduce friction with pre-populated form fields. If a user comes directly from the Narmi consumer or business account opening platform, they will not need to input their personal information again. We will retrieve their data through the core and pre-fill necessary fields, reducing duplicative work and improving the user experience.
