While the option to open additional accounts has always been available in the Narmi product, we've recently refined the workflow to better align with our commitment to a seamless user experience.

User information will auto-populate when opening additional accounts from online banking. When applicants open another account with your financial institution directly from Narmi online banking, their information will automatically populate in the application flow. This minimizes friction and instills confidence that the applicant is in the right place, allowing them to proceed confidently in deciding to open an additional account.
Users can easily fund new accounts by directly using their existing accounts at your financial institution. While traditional funding options like an external bank account or credit/debit card are still available, this new feature allows users to fund directly from the accounts they're managing in online banking. This improves the user experience, linking your financial institution with convenience and making it more memorable when the applicant thinks about opening another account.
The option to open additional accounts is strategically placed throughout digital banking to promote cross-selling. As a standard, users will find the "Open an account" option under both the tools and the services section. This intentional design choice enhances user visibility, encouraging users to frequently think about opening another account with your financial institution.
