What’s New at Narmi: May Product Highlights
In May, Narmi has been working to empower financial institutions to accelerate application decisioning, modernize cross-border payments and treasury reporting for commercial clients, and capture more funded accounts with the seamless mobile experiences that today’s consumers and businesses expect. Decisioning Applications speeds up account application reviews in Narmi Command, International Wire Templates and unified Payment Activity streamline cross-border payments for business clients, Native BAI2 & CSV Export delivers real-time treasury data to ERP-heavy commercial clients, and Digital Wallet Funding brings Apple Pay and Google Pay into Account Opening to lift funded conversions. Explore the updates below.
NEW FEATURES AND UPDATES:
Decision Applications Faster and Smarter in Narmi Command
Decisioning Applications centralizes the full application review and approval workflow inside Narmi Command, giving FI staff everything they need to evaluate and decision consumer account applications without switching to Alloy. Staff can now view identity verification documents, normalized fraud scores from multiple vendors on a standardized 0–1 risk scale, and evaluation tags — then approve or reject applicants with a reason code and optional note, all from a single screen. For joint applications, staff can decision co-applicants individually and determine the overall application outcome when results are mixed, while a webhook keeps Alloy in sync throughout the process.

Streamline Recurring International Payments with Wire Templates and Unified Payment Activity
Narmi’s International Wire Templates give commercial banking users a faster, more controlled way to execute recurring cross-border payments — whether in USD or foreign currency. Users can now create reusable wire templates with pre-filled fields, reducing manual entry and the risk of errors on high-value FX transactions. FI admins gain granular per-user control over whether staff can send freeform wires or must use pre-approved templates. And with international wires now appearing alongside ACH and domestic wires in the unified Payment Activity page, business clients have a complete, consolidated view of every payment they’ve originated in Narmi — no more switching screens to find an international transaction.

Deliver Enterprise-Grade Financial Data to Commercial Clients with Native BAI2 & CSV Export
Narmi’s Native BAI2 & CSV Export gives commercial banking clients on-demand, always-accurate transaction and balance data in the format their ERP and treasury management systems require. Unlike legacy core-transmitted BAI2 files that go stale the moment they’re sent, Narmi retrieves data live from the core and maps it to standardized BAI2 codes in real time — eliminating transmission lag, backdating errors, and core licensing fees. Users access the new Advanced Export tool from a dedicated Reports tab, where they can filter across multiple accounts, select date ranges, narrow by BAI2 transaction code, and export in either BAI2 or CSV format. Community FIs can now offer the same treasury capabilities that businesses expect from the nation’s largest banks.

Grow Funded Account Conversions with Digital Wallet Funding
Digital Wallet Funding brings Apple Pay and Google Pay into Narmi’s Consumer and Business Account Opening flow, removing the need for manual card entry at the final step. Applicants can quickly authenticate with their device and fund their account in seconds, making the process faster and easier, especially on mobile where 60-70% of applications start. By eliminating friction at a key drop-off point, financial institutions can deliver a smoother onboarding experience, reduce abandonment, and boost funded account conversions while meeting modern mobile-first expectations.
